As the temperature and leaves compete to fall, why not rise to a cup of delicious, low acid Halloween pumpkin spice latte, which is as easy as it is delicious? Now I know what you're thinking ("oh that sounds too complicated, I'll get it at the shop!"), but put down the keys and just hang on a second...

What if I told you that you can make it from the comfort of your kitchen? A cup so amazing it could rival any cup from a coffee shop, AND make you feel like a pro barista!

With this recipe, you can save those 20 minutes drive to your coffee shop and put those extra bucks towards your holiday shopping.

Let's get started!

Here is what you need...

  • 1/4 cup hot Fabula Pumpkin Spice coffee
  • 2 tablespoon pure pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon for pumpkin spice for sprinkling
  • Sweetened whipped cream if desired

And here is what you do...

  1. In a microwave safe bowl add pumpkin puree, milk, sugar, vanilla and half of the pumpkin spice.
  2. Cover with plastic wrap. You need give the ingredients ventilation, so make a small whole in the plastic wrap. Microwave for approximately 1-2 minutes or until the milk is hot.
  3. Whisk vigorously until it becomes foamy. This should take about 30 seconds.
  4. In a large  mug, add your Fabula Pumpkin Spice Coffee and your foamy mixture.
  5. If desired, add your whipped cream  and sprinkle the remaining pumpkin spice.
