Let's continue our healthy coffee recipe journey with something different and a bit fancier. Wait, don't leave just yet! I know I said fancier but, not more expensive. Chances are you have most if not all the ingredients in your pantry already. So let's get into this fancy lavender honey iced latte!

Lavender has been known for centuries for its sweet scent and its calming and soothing properties. This purple super flower also has several health benefits. It is believed to help with insomnia, anxiety, and even headaches and migraines. It is also said that lavender strengthens the immune system and boosts your mood. With that said let's get on our apron and head to the kitchen!

Here's what you'll need...

  • 1/2 cup of your favorite Fabula coffee, espresso or cold brew
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1 teaspoon dried lavender
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oat Milk or any milk of your choice

And here's how to make it...

  1. Make your Lavender Honey Syrup - Combine in a saucepan, honey, dried lavender flowers and water.
  2. Bring to a simmer until the honey has dissolved. Let this sit for 20-40 minutes. This will allow the lavender to fully infuse into the mixture.
  3. Once the syrup is ready, strain to remove the lavender flowers. You can store it in an airtight container in the fridge until you're ready to use it.
  4. Add your lavender syrup to your glass followed by your favorite Fabula coffee
  5. Stir until fully combined.
  6. Add a handful of ice or the amount that you prefer.
  7. Top the latte off with cold oat milk or the milk of your choice
  8. Stir it until fully combined and enjoy!

The beauty of making this delicious latte at home is that you make it exactly to your liking. So feel free to edit and make changes to the recipe as you like.
