Our Medium roast coffee comes from Peru’s northern highlands, near the Andes Mountains, grown at altitudes of up to 7,000 feet. This extreme elevation allows the coffee cherries to develop richer, more distinct flavors. The beans are often handpicked due to the region’s challenging terrain.
Farms are remote, with poor infrastructure and limited road access, requiring coffee to be transported by donkey in some areas. Despite these difficulties, the unique microclimates produce complex, balanced flavors.
